Rob Strasenburgh
Reentry and Restorative Process Specialist
I was born and raised in Rochester New York and in my 20's found home in Vermont. I was drawn to restorative justice through the belief that wanting to become the best versions of ourselves is a shared human experience, and meaningful growth is possible when people are met with dignity, respect, and opportunity.
Through my work and life experience, I have learned that everyone wants to be seen, heard, and treated with fairness and respect. When space is created for accountability and compassion, healing and positive changes can take root. I believe all people deserve the chance to improve their lives and move forward with purpose.
I believe deeply in the power of community and connection. I am honored to be part of the work that supports individuals as they rebuild trust, strengthen relationships, and create new opportunities for themselves.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing upright bass and listening to many different genres of music. I enjoy improvisation in art, comedy, and all forms of creative expression. I also enjoy cooking and spending time outdoors
