Carly Levinson

MSW Restorative Justice Intern

She/Her

Born and raised in New Jersey, I took a leap of faith two years ago and moved to Vermont to fully embrace my love for skiing, hiking, and all kinds of outdoor adventures. With a bachelor's degree in social work, I am now pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at UVM, which has been a rewarding journey so far.

Compassion, empathy, and unwavering dedication are the bedrock of my character. I firmly believe in adopting the strength and empowerment models when serving vulnerable populations, enabling them to thrive and progress.
My enduring fascination lies in aiding individuals entangled within the judicial system. Recently, I stumbled upon the transformative power of restorative justice, a revelation that resonated deeply within me and felt like a calling. Guided by an unwavering drive, I am committed to assisting those who have encountered trauma, wrestle with mental health challenges, and battle against substance use. My steadfast advocacy seeks to ensure that all individuals are treated with dignity and respect while incorporating restorative justice conversations into my work. Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery, helping individuals realize their full potential and make meaningful strides toward their goals.
