Victim Services Coordinator, Restorative Justice Liaison for Victims/Affected Parties
I work to bolster human rights for all through innovation, accountability, restorative and transformative justice, antiracist practices, and systems advocacy. Prior to working at the BCJC, I was a domestic and sexual violence advocate with the DIVAS program at Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility and Legal Advocate at Steps to End Domestic Violence. I focused my graduate work on performance as a tool for social change and hold an M.A. in Applied Theatre from Skidmore College. An advocate for civic engagement and being the change I want to see in the world, I am a member of the Board of Directors for the ACLU of Vermont, and serve on the National ACLU Board of Directors as Vermont’s affiliate representative and affiliate equity officer. I live in Winooski where I own a home with my brilliant wife, Sarah, and our two rascally cats, Gypsy and Tortuga. No matter the season, I always find new magic in Lake Champlain sunsets.
